A user in Fill the Role represents a person's access to the platform; creating a user for your colleague is the first step required to involve them in hiring activities. To manage users, the platform offers the following capabilities:
- Invite a user
- Edit a user1
- Delete a user
- Deactivate a user
- Reactivate a user
- A user's password cannot be changed by another user.
Inviting Users
In order to invite a user you must specify a first name, last name, email address, and user role. To learn more about different user roles refer to User Roles and Permissions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I delete a particular user?
In order to delete a user the following criteria must be true:
- You must have adequate access based on your user role. See User Roles and Permissions for more details.
- The user must not be able to manage billing.
- They must not be the sole member of any role's hiring team
- They must not be the sole hiring lead on any role's hiring team
